A new hybrid genetic algorithm for protein structure prediction on the 2D triangular lattice

چکیده
The flawless functioning of the protein is essentially related to its three-dimensional structure. Therefore,predicting structure from amino acid sequence a fundamental problem that draws researchers' attentionin many areas. prediction (PSP) can be formulated as combinatorial optimization based on simplified lattice models such hydrophobic-polar model. In this paper, we propose new hybridalgorithm combines three different known heuristic algorithms: genetic algorithm, tabu search strategy,and local algorithm solve PSP problem. Regarding evaluation proposed approach, wepresent an experimental study, where consider quality product solution main assessment criterion.Furthermore, compared with state-of-the-art algorithms using selection well-studiedbenchmark instances.
